To be completely honest though, most JRPGs are fantasy Rpg. They are not portrayed to be realistic to begin with...
They satisfy my RPG craving more than WRPGs(well with the exception of very few ie. skyrim and Fall out). Also, I like the artistic/animeish design of JRPGs compared to the plastic and hideous looking design from western developers. Although, seriously, it all comes down to the character and gameplay which I've been accustomed to since the PS1 era.
I just don't enjoy their game. I bought ME2(I still have this game) and tried in all my might to like it, but it just didn't work for me. Same thing happened with Dragon Age 1 and 2(which I sold afterwards).

You can't be serious. FF 13-2 reused the same place over and over again. It's not necessarily bad since it's the nature of the story, but surely Archlyte step on FF 13 alone is bigger than all the places in FF 13-2 combined!

Do you even have any idea how much it would cost just to get it remade with current tech? Do you also get the reason why remade was done on handhelds? Is it possible? Yes. Is it "easily possible?" NO.

FF 7 was indeed a really great game, but personally, I still favor FF 8 haha...that's just my opinion though...
