The main villain is very fleshed out and actually made the player care about his/her reasons. A lot of people who plays FF 14 are actually veteran Final Fantasy players and they put the main villain of Shadowbringers on top of all FF villains. So sad for all the people using the monthly subscription as a reason not to experience this masterpiece. I was in the same mindset before FF 14 ARR, but I actually notice that I never purchase any other game when I started playing this game. It definitely saved me more money in the long run.
