i honestly think that is reality. what are we going to? not alot really if we want to play games. and both know it. drm or not, i am still buying both cosoles this year.
whereas m$ version will be verified on-line, i honestly think that sony have opted for the activation code version.
both are part of the partner plan with publishers and large chain stores. and both will have a set fee for reactivation on another console.
nintendo are not part of the partner plan, and dont have drm on their console.
so ea are not supporting them.
and please, think before you write that the "install base is not yet big enough".. the ps4 and xbox 1 have ZERO consoles sold, yet ea is going to support both of them....

always on is not a deal breaker for me as both my consoles now are always connected.
all in all, seems ok to me. i can buy and sell games just like before.
if e3 shows a large percentage of games that are not kinect junk. then an xbox 1 will be getting bought this year
