"If you complain when PS3 gets shafted then you should complain when X360 gets it as well."
The 360 didn't get shafted, it just cant handle PS3 level of Graphics & Sound. The PS3 has never held back an Xbox 360 game, but we all know of many games the 360 has held back because of its hardware & DVD limitations.
The PS3 is a more capable Console than the 360. PS3 owners shouldnt have to look at Xbox 360 graphics, or listin to 5.1 non HD so...
I just bought the first, and pre-ordered the second on Steam yesterday. I was blown away with what I saw coming from Witcher 2, that I felt obligated to play the first one as well. Loving it so far.
Your right, they dont have a problem with Forza's Driving Physics, but they also realize that Forza's Driving Physics aren't realistic enough to be considered a SIMULATION.
I love the Forza franchise, but the Physics need alot of work before it can be considered Realistic.
People dont say Forza is not a Sim because, they are fans of other games, they say it because Forza really isn't a Simulation Racer. It's close, but until the Physic...
I wont argue with that.
The folks over at EA lost every ounce of credibility they had when they tried to say Shift 2 was a Sim. (at least Forza has some sim like traits to it)
The Driving Physics on Shift 2 were awful. It was just as floaty as the other "Arcade" NFS games from the past.
Until they rework their Driving Physics Forza will never be a SIM RACER.
Forza does alot of things right, but to call it a sim is incorrect. Real cars and real tracks dont mean Simulation.
Im hoping Turn 10 spends more time getting the pysics right instead of wasting their time trying to shoehorn Kinect into a game that has no use of Motion Controls.
Either way, looking forward to Forza 4 later this year.
To compare this to the 360's Failure Rate is hilarious.
Sony didnt know that the PSN was going to get hacked to the degree that it did. / Microsoft knew that the 360 had the highest failure rate of any consumer product in history, but still released it anyway.
Sony is in the process of fixing the PSN issues within 1-2 weeks, / Microsoft still hasn't fixed it's failure rate to a respectable percentage yet.
Microsoft has been ...
In a small way, Im sure it did. Portal 2 is mostly a Single Player Game anyway, so it probably didn't do much damage to it's sells.
I bet it hurt Socom 4's sells more than MK or Portal 2's sells though.
It's definitely in the running, but it's only April.
We still have Uncharted 3/Rage/LA Noire/The Last Guardian/Mass Effect 3/Infamous 2/Deus Ex/Resistance 3/Battlefield 3/Skyrim/Gears 3/Batman:Arkham City.
By the time all these games drop, Portal might not even be in the top 5. It sure is an excelent game so far though.
You have a point, but Nintendo could most definitely have the option to use a quality controller for all, or most games.
Nintendo definitely needs a non motion controller that is compatable with every game. Until they get that, they will never win back the Core gamer.
Me too.
Every game should have the option of NO MOTION, I enjoy Nintendo franchises, but I hate having to sit upright just so I can shake my arms around to get Mario to jump.
I miss Nintendo games, but until I can play them comfortably, I wont buy another Nintendo.
That, and I would like to see some sort of Trophies/Achievements for the next Nintendo. (Yes, I have turned into a Trophies/Achievements whore this gen)
If Sony made the hardware for Microsoft.
:)
They should take this year and really improve the game for the first time in a decade. Madden needs an extra year, it has been getting stale for years now.
Rejuvenate your game EA, before everyone completely walks away from it. It will dissapear like the Guitar Hero Franchise if you keep up your lack of improvement.
It was dumbed down alot, but it was still a great knock off of the PC Civ's
I really liked Civilization Revolution, and would pick up another version on console day one.
I have played Civilization 5 to death, and Im ready for another Revolution. (Maybe with K&M Support, and maybe even Move Support on PS3)
It's a great store. All my stuff catches on fire, but the warranty makes up for all the damage.
:)
I shop at Red Ring Electronics for all my gaming needs. :)
People dont want Multiplayer in certain games because when you add Multiplayer to a franchise, it takes away from the Singleplayer. (99 times out of 100)
1.It shrinks the Singleplayer's budget significantly.
2.Takes longer to develop.
3. It divides the developers talent into two seperate groups.
Some Franchises just dont need Multiplayer. Mass Effect is one of those.
I hope not
We have enough shooters to last until the PS4 already.
you are right sir.
AAA is the designation of "The highest of Quality"
You cant have a 5 Star Restaurant until someone qualified has rated it a 5 Star Restaurant. AAA is also used with loans/credit ratings to identify outstanding marks. (as well as many other things)
A Game Developer cant rate his or her own game, but can imply that they are putting the budget/time/talent together that will help achieve the goal of AAA rated ga...
You know what is even more crazy than staring at Screenshots and ranting is?
Getting on a forum to complain about those lunatic Screenshot ranting people.
