@1.6 They'd probably use the sales argument or something to that affect. Still seems a bit of a moot point. Wii fit isn't a fantastic game just because it sells like doughnuts at a fat kid camp, and neither is say...Okami, a bad game even thought it had poor sales. If Killzone 2 had sold just 1 copy, to me, I would still think it is a great game.
Wait, what? 100 foot tall Stalin fights off an alien invasion. No wonder it's being released on International Pot Smoking day.
I couldn`t live in medieval times. People pooped in pots back then, not toilets.
``Duck Season! Rabbit Season! Nazi Season!`` Never thought I`d see Nazi in the same sentence as a Bugs Bunny reference, but there it is.
I don't think that Hollywood does minimalistic very well. They`ll probably fill those vast rolling plains with racial stereotype characters or busty babes. But, if it turns out to be a good movie, I`ll see it day one.
Well, at least this is better than paying for vader/yoda for soul calibur 4, when it was already on the disk, and they already had a character slot built in. Think that was 5$ for that too, but I'm not sure since I didn't buy it. This is still pretty dumb though.
Lolwhut?
Forget Final Fantasy for a second. There's a new Full Metal Alchemist anime out? Must go check it out.
Meh.
I think Dead Rising might actually be better preparation for the zombie apocalypse. You know, just in case you happen to be stranded in a mall full of zombies, you'll know just how to use soccer balls against zombies.
Wall-e is a pretty good movie. Can't say I've seen it on blu-ray yet though.
Yeah, somehow I don't see this outselling the likes of Wii Sports, or Wii Fit. That being said, I'm sure it'll sell about 10m+ and be a great gaming experience, like its predecessor. Hopefully, anyways.
Maybe it's just me, but I find that picture really freaky. The article makes a good point, lead platform implies that it will be on other platforms. The game is definitely intriguing though.
Huh? Gears 3? How would that be coming out this year? Actually, I don't even remember hearing an announcement for it, as they claim. I may have missed it, maybe.
Seriously? Overlooking the irony, let's look at the argument. What's brought up are head to head comparison videos for multi-platform games, with the conclusion being drawn that the editors invariably come up with the 360 as the reason for claiming bias. While I have only watched a few, I haven't noticed a huge trend in this direction, but regardless, the differences are likely tiny, so who really cares who wins, if it's only by a hair, or a few pixels? On the subject of game reviews, they ha...
It's over 9000!!!!!!!!
Sorry.
'Smashing your instruments after a successful boss fight unlocks a new side-quest, “Buy all your sh*t again, you idiot” while completing the game without missing a single note on Insane difficulty unlocks the “WTF Are You On?” Achievement.'
Hillarious.
Well, I seem to remember reading that being a first party developer for Sony gave Guerilla Games a larger budget, and the ability to work with and correlate with members of other studios owned/affiliated with Sony, for example, Naughty Dog and Insomniac. Also, having an important exclusive game usually means that it will be more heavily marketed than if it was a third party game. I'm not sure about other people, but here I see Killzone 2 ads 10 times a day. I'm sure it depends heavily on the ...
In fairness, Sony has also said that they don't feel that they are directly in competition with the Wii. That being said, it seems like all Microsoft (especially Aaron Greenberg) do is attack Sony's console. Personally, I'd prefer to hear more about games they have lined up for this year, or other relevant details about their own console.
Ugh. I agree with some/most of your points, but that's just a flamebait title.
