The only way they should have received their early access code, from GameStop, is by paying off their game in full. As an employee, we have to note that they picked up the early access and are not allowed to cancel or transfer the preorder as it is now considered a "pre-purchase." So even if they don't pick up the game, they will NOT be able to receive a refund, transfer pre-order, receive store credit, or return the game unopened as they have already received part of the game. ...
