Coming from a company that would probably reprimand their own employees if they were to call off for the same reason.
Maybe it's because Kojima wants people to take as much time as they need to get the full experience of the game. A lot of reviewers are rushed to get through games to have the review done in time, but this gives them time to play the game at a respectable rate and really take in the game and the story.
Honestly, I have no idea, just my take on it knowing the type of person Kojima seems to be.

I'm not even going to waste my time with this article. As long as technology keeps advancing at the current rate (or faster), is financially affordable, and continues a backwards compatibility push, what does it matter if it's 7 years, 5 years or sooner?

@longbottom are you arguing frame rate or graphics? You know those are 2 different things, and graphically tlou2 is going to put gears5 to shame (you're comparing an unreleased, uncomplete game to a released game). Tlou2 isn't designed to be "shooter" like gears is. It's a SURVIVAL horror game with stealth, melee and shooting mechanics. Which, while 60 is normally always preferred, isn't as necessary for a game like this and still translates beautiful for the gamepla...
Every game should be like this if they include MTX. However, MTXs shouldn't exists in the first place.

Agreed, if I'm not mistaken there have been quite a few studies that show that a lot of mass-shooters aren't actually mentally ill (even though some definitely are). Most are angry and uneducated, and Trump has created an presence and uses his platform that lets that fester and grow into something as horrible as these shootings. Then proceeds to blame entertainment media and video games. It's absolutely ridiculous.
