It's the usual MS misrepresentation BS.
"Xbox One is the only console with every Top Ten console game" http://venturebeat.com/2016... er...no it's not "and BC." Oh I see what they did there.

They threw "and BC" on the end to try to make an untrue statement seem true. Classic MS.

Edit: While I was off...

It was fake? Oh thank God!
That thing was an abomination.

Eonjay, I think "The Suppository" may be fitting. As that's what a lot of gamers are going to tell Nintendo to do with it.

Abash, it's the exact same trick they tried to pull with Alan Wake. It is what it is. Why BS consumers?

Here's the Alan Wake link:

Hoffman named one.
Did you guys read the source of the article? This guy is just lashing out at everyone because his financials are under threat. He's threatening everyone who ever said anything negative (whether they're in the USA or not) and labeling JS as "the first" to face court. All this, while admitting he has no legal representation whatsoever.

Oh, and someone sent him a turd in the mail (Jim really shouldn't have done that *smh*) and the...

Well let me just start by saying "compliment"? Ah $#!+. I should've thought ahead.

As for getting a response (complimentary or not) from the dev, nice work.

You got the review right. That's more important and far more rare than a crappy one liner.

Anyway, gravy incoming.

Submerged huh? Sounds like a floater to me.

How dare you! "Yourney" was the pinnacle of the series.

"It might be a soft J"

Nasty "oversight". *smh*

Agreed. Nobody ever thought this game was going anywhere. The game was universally panned by Xbone gamers since it's announcement. To say anything else now would just be spin from desperate people. Anything else would be... Nasty "oversight". *smh*

Outstanding! Peter Bright, the MS editor at ars thinks that turning pc into a console is the way of the future. Talk about watertight thinking. It's best for everyone after all. Open platforms and real choice are anti-consumer. Anything else would be...
Nasty "oversight". *smh*

You tell 'em goeasyplz! People need to know that this is in best interests of everybody (gamers and the dev staff of those studios especially). Might I add that the most convincing way to deliver such news is with a 14 hour old account that's soley been used as a PR exercise.

Nasty "oversight" there thrash. *smh*

No lighting settings? Why would anyone be upset?
Lighting has no effect on performance. Forward rendering, deferred rendering, volumetric lighting, etc. are all calculated on the blu-ray drive. As this gen's games are installed to the hdd the blu-ray drive is going to waste. Why wouldn't you use it?

Nasty "oversight" by gamers to think differently. *smh*

WHAT?! No.
He's right. The only intelligent thing to do here is get the opinion of someone who admits to not having done anything but looked at a few screenshots. Screenshots tell you the games structure, story, performance and scope after all. Fro's thinking is completely sound. As is that of Raj.
Nasty "oversight" overload. *smh*

It's their new security system. When you try to login they send a technician around to you house to look through your window and make sure it's you. They drive back to HQ, hit the okay button and you're good to go. Don't you know anything. Nasty "oversight". *smh*

It's common knowledge the in order to diversify your software lineup you need to diminish your talent pool. How else or they going to show gamers they care?

Nasty "oversight" there snookie. *smh*

I read your comment in the voice of Luigi (from the Simpsons).
That Was Awesome. Thanks!

OT: Regardless of how MS fare in the future. Right now there's a real "by the seat of your pants" approach from what I can see. It's quite bizarre to watch. The inner Murdoch in some is competing with a mess from MS PR in a race of sorts. I want to see which hits the wall first.

This has been know for some time. It's because of the forced V-sync. It's 30 or 60 fps (locked/chosen by the dev) and that's it.

V-sync means if the system doesn't meet its output budget it results in tear (the screen not being rendered completely and usually being flipped and outputted anyway) in order to continue outputing at the required rate. To the monitor it's still 30/60 frames though. So... it's crap to not give the option to unlock it.
