This is either going to be really good or really bad.
While I'm looking forward to U4 I'm waiting till I play it before I pass judgement. Yes it looks really good and the beta was solid. I just can't get onboard with rubber-stamping a title on something site unseen. It's just not ethical or realistic.

Beta software can be (and usually is) "feature incomplete". That has nothing to do with whether it's Alpha or Beta phase. It's entirely down to the testing method. You can have "early build " betas.
As I said, this is simply about the reception it received.
"Alpha" stage software is the working model used for internal testing. It's the first stage after translating the concepts into a workable program. Pre-alpha is the transition period between concept and working model. At this point there is no game (as of yet) to speak of.
"Beta" stage software is any model released for "outside" testing.
Google the definitions.

OT: Of course it's underwhelming. MS are using GeoW4's "beta" to plug a hole in their software lineup. It's why there won't be a delay (regardless of how broken the game is) and it'll have a big day one patch.

That's the point. There was never a downgrade. TGG is just acting out. It's ridiculous but there he is doing it.
Slacker...the thing is that all souls games (and bloodborne) rely on a level playing field. At any point you can be invaded or invade others. That's the point. The game is hard but being invaded can have you confronting an enemy harder than any NPC or in game enemy.
If you were to add an easy mode how would you handle MP? Start segregating players by setting? Buff easy mode players? I mean how is it that you'd change the game without changing the game? Can you see how...
At 4k max settings the game averages less than 25 fps on Nvidia (980ti) and less than 20 fps on AMD (fury x).
The game's a mess on PC all 'round.
Yeah. It's handled by the ARM processor. Saves on system resources but introduces limitations on your stream res. Same as shareplay.
Still. It's a nice feature.
