Inferior what exactly? Inferior graphics/textures/distant rendering are to be expected but that's about all that's inferior to the PC version.
Edit: Yeah, player count too and smaller maps to accommodate smaller numbers of players and keep things looking sharp - Forgot that. Is that all though?
It'll be interesting to see how the small maps turn out. They're shrunk purely to fit all the players on while keeping textures and performance at their top... ...

Perhaps they should just give up on Xbox? I doubt MS will be willing to budge over anytime soon. Instead they should concentrate resources on making the PS3 to PC connection even better.

Perhaps we can have true cross-platform gaming with Valves game in the near future then? Not just PS3 to PC (Portal 2 worked fantastically well with this).
That's exactly what I was going to say. There will be restrictions, strict ones, unless MS get a wad of cash out of the deal - which valve isn't likely to pay for.
Or you could buy the very similar, less than a year old, Fifa 11 for a couple of quid.

I think consoles have it too on battlefield
1) it's a beta. It's to test performance and server stress, not graphics.
2) there is only so much that can be done with the xbox hardware. If it's not to your standard then buy a PC or PS3 because it won't get any better. Give the final version a chance though and make a decision based on that.
I'll probably get dislikes for being on N4G - that's the normal port of call.
