I believe the sweet spot for playstation vr is $299 standalone, $399 bundled with ps camera, ps move and a game or 2.

The vita has power to last this entire gen. Once the ps4 domination is complete, they will do a vita re-launch with a new model, price, games.... My guess is 2016.
