Yes it works. You need to have a controller connected to a 4 port usb hub which tricks the console into giving authentication for non-native(ps4) controllers otherwise it will disconnect every 8-10 minutes.
Yes i would recommend one if you've got a wheel that is not compatible with the ps4 (logitech GT/G25/G27)

Dude get some ginger into you, that's what i use in long sessions of VR. Ginger ale or ginger beer (non alcoholic of course) will set you right, also a fan and don't play on an empty stomach.

The fatalities aren't that hard to do anyway, no harder then doing a raging demon. the window to do them is so huge compared to older MK games. Also if your that much of a NOOB just do faction kills, hold a button and do two inputs.
Just buy super street fighter 2 HD remix. That's what USF2 is.
