I have a feeling maybe next gen planned. Like main for next gen but some scalability for last gen but cancelled again for last gen for good reason. Also reason being that 2042 feels next gen in upgrades but in some ways has a hugely scaled down last gen version. I mean frostbite is insane even in lowest settings.
Like BF 2042 loads in seconds from menu to map. Like once you press enter to match, its like 5 seconds in game. That never happened with Frostbite engine games bef...
