The grunts are hilarious.
The timing is spot on. What makes it great is what the say when they say it especially when you least expect it and are like just out of a battle or driving by one of them. The situation makes it amazing.
Vice made themselves irrelevant. I almost worked for them.
Yea the valorplates have different buffs.
Not a huge difference. Its like stat and some debuff with many overlapping Archon Fury between them. Poison debuff with longsword aoe proc build etc etc but thats all it is.
They all play very similar, if each felt like a whole new class that would make sense for this bare minimum feeling game.
The Armor skins are recoloured with some sparkles.
At the moment, performance charts are pointless.
The 17%will matter mid to late gen, like they always do.
17% of 60 fps is 10 fps You can use that power to get stable 60fps in late gen or not use and keep the system running cooler. Either way theoretically its still quite useful.
But in the end it comes down to the devs.
PS5 wins by 1 fps in 1 scene xD
*looks at popcorn
You nailed this review. Exactly my thoughts as well.
Well done enemy AI and allies AI, not many games do this well.
All the banter is excellent, allies and enemies.
Level design, armor breaking off etc.
Spot on points.
And seriously the gameplay is too damn good. The last shooter I went berzerk with was Titanfall and I play everything.
Oh man once you get the hang of the hook and swap abilities mid grapple and plant shield on landing, and stitch your moves and constantly reposition. Its like frantic shooter chess.
Beautiful chaos.
Also max grapple upgrade and grapple slam in between grunts on the ground or the walls for aoe nuking.
So many ways to go at it. I get excited just seeing the mobs now. Now I'm trying to get max dash and combine that into my loop. Also i...
Its become my fav shooter of the year and possibly my fav game this year.
The gameplay is spot on.
I play it like a maniac, I dont even remember what linear means when playing this game.
Can't wait to upgrade all the abilities. Right now I'm playing it like Titanfall, maybe even crazier.
Same. I haven't had so much fun with a shooter in a long time.
Using the abilities makes everything so hectic and fun. Speed strategy.
I got bored already.
Theres a tower mode and some other missions mode thats very linear, run to boss kind of situation.
The earnable armor skins for the valorplates are just different colours/texture adjustments.
Its like a stripped down mobile game.
Wrong site dude.
You gotta be subtle.
Clearly you have a one-sided understanding of crossplay.
Just play it.
Its ridiculous how good it is. It has more suprises and mechanics than multiple AAA games combined.
No idea how they pulled it off.
Gotg has a good narrative and its telling execution is excellent but I would probably give it to Life is Strange:True Colours.
Its a tough one. Gotg actually was very well done narratively and did a fantastic job in recreating the characters and their timing etc.
Havent had the chance to play it yet, but I have been seeing all outlets saying Dread was spectacular and even Goty worthy but again same outlets say It Takes Two is a masterpiece.
After reviewing the winners, I think they might have got it right. Have yet to try Dread tho.
Thats rubbish.
The opening is a blast. Also possibly the most fun shooter I have played in a long time and I buy all shooters.
Kotaku as usual.
Coz reality is running on PC.
This is brilliant. Hot shit
Nice, full on gameplay.
Looking fresh and highly intrigued.
I would take a GTA scale Splinter Cell. Not Ubi hub based.
And I want every room in every building accessible and filled with options.
Then maybe open world.
