I don't have the patience for a turn based God of War.
The clear immersive advantages of real time is very very attractive to a storyteller.
Turn based is just about ok for the hardcore role-player but the moment to moment positioning of a story beat or a peak moment is lost.
Games nowadays are pursuing that visceral feeling which only real time can provide.
More like everyone wants action combat and a tiny niche group want turn based.
Or Squeenix wouldn't switch.
waiting for a fleshed out review, then waiting a few more months for patches and then waiting on heavy dicsount.
Then maybe just maybe.

My assumption is that these games will store entire map data on the ram to avoid issues with PC gamer's not owning the fast console ssd's.
PC gamers are beginning to adapt to all the faster SSD and GPU's but this safeties the larger population.
Just my guess.
It's the 3070 at 30fps that is extremely concerning. That thing is a beast so either the game is going to be MASSIVE in scale or a massive turd.
At least they are honest about it.
Almost every aspect of the gameplay was dull.
Rounds based system at its worst.
