I don't think its about console war either. In general gamers don't consider Apple to be any form of a primary gaming platform.

Gaming on Mac is a bonus. Gaming on Iphone is mostly mobile games with actual mobile game design in mind.

But...Apple is pretending as if Mac and Iphone is in the AA and AAA video gaming business.
These 1 or 2 AAA games are just carrots.
They'll use the same sales tactics...

Ray Tracing is what will change mobile gaming forever, not games.

Silicon macs have received maybe 4 or 5 games since 2020.

Same outcome with these phones.

These few games are to rope in the suckers.

I mean if they were going to test it out on HDD they could have gone all the way and tried it on Integrated GPU's, a PS3 or even a microwave.
