Souls games don't even come close to the audience numbers of Bethesda's games. Sony would need to buy a more non niche game type maker.
Also Sony doesn't need From Software, those games are pretty much already on PS devices and Sony seems to have a good relationship with them.
My 'analysts' say 30 bucks is the sweet spot.

Its not straight up invest and money back exact amount. 7.5 bil is to expand and have reach. Its more like make few hundred bill in the long run. Its not a quick money back scheme. Ms can do quick money back in any other sector. This is for a long term gain.
Theres a lot to study in this gamepass model and quite a lot is happening and this is one of the moves.
Good on Zenimax and MS for maintaining status quo. I believe all ongoing Zeni games should continue as is.

1. Fast loading or no loading
2. Higher Graphical Fidelity and Performance from this to next gen.
3. Better AI
4. Newer gameplay experiences
5. Scale, scope, speed increase
