Its based on the comparative lack of reaction to this re-release while some gamers were trashing The Last of Us Remastered. Its just an interesting disparity.
Meh. I'll live.
Aaron Greenberg did not use the phrase "lifetime" or "permanent" exclusive. I think we're all savvy enough to know that the work exclusive on its own doesn't mean much other than at least a six month delay for other platforms.
Either way, I'm not hugely put out by this announcement but it makes me wonder at Square Enix's strategy. Since they thought the previous game underperformed, and the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition sold more than twi...
They can't. If it's a timed exclusive, it's part of their contract that they cannot confirm that fact. Until their contract expires, they can only give the "No plans" party line or be in breach.
You want to talk about unnecessary ports and cash grabs. Diablo III should be at the top of people's lists of complaints.
I guess they feel pretty foolish now that the game turned out to be crappy.
Make me a Colony Wars game to go with it, and I'm sold.
Never happened? It's only been five months. Never is a long time.
OT: Square Enix knew that they were going to have trouble competing with Uncharted 4 at Christmas 2015 anyhow, so this is a good deal for them. Plus they can release a GOTY edition at Christmas 2016 on PS4 and maybe catch some people who'll buy it for both platforms.
I couldn't really picture Uncharted as a first person game with all the traversal. Morpheus seems more suited to either FPS or driving/piloting simulations.
I guess they needed to buy something to compete with Uncharted 4 at Christmas 2015.
RE6 would have had to make some sales to be a cash grab.
Hell, I'd take a free Xbox One. Then I could play Dead Rising 3 now instead of September.
...that it sold 83 million units?
I think you just answered your own question.
His name is S_D_F_Repellent, his account is 3 days old, and he is downplaying the PS4.
Yes, I'm sure that the fanboy in this equation is me. Also I'm being totally sincere and not sarcastic at all.
In an unrelated note, I have this lovely bridge that is in desperate need of a new owner. Interested?
One lame rumor to debunk another? That doesn't make much sense, TF.
Sites like that is why I'm glad for AdBlock.
And there is a WTF / No for the record. Ellie's sex is completely irrelevant to the dynamic between a parent and their adopted child in this situation.
There were and are a lot of vocal proponents of Ryse on this site since its release. If you believe them, it was an enjoyable game.
However, I doubt that releasing it on PC will do much for Crytek's bottom line. On the other hand, Dead Rising 3 is something I'm looking forward to when it's released in September.
Gee, truefan1 is proclaiming Microsoft superiority despite all evidence to the contrary.
I am stunned and shocked by this turn of events.
