I agree. It should be part of the new PS4 devkits after seeing what people were able to do with inFamous Second Son and The Last of Us.

Ironic, and funny. I wonder how many trolls are going to take the bait without realizing the truth.

You're in every article for The Order, posting the same questionable comparison of faces between The Order and Ryse. You know what? The Order is still much better.

No issues yet; it's running great. Still, I agree.

Though it's easy to see that as a virtue when he already knows that the game runs well, unlike Unity at launch. :)

RE: Cinematic feel. When you play it, you'll see that isn't the case. Ready at Dawn was serious about it, and the philosophy permeates every aspect of the game from the menus, level and character design, all the way to the UI. Whether or not a cinematic experience is a desirable outcome is down to your particular tastes, but I'm enjoying it and it definitely makes the experience more enthralling.

I can agree with that if it's a genuine statement.

@wonderfulmonkeyman: I agree with everything you've said, assuming that the critic is genuine in their efforts, which I suppose will determine if the term 'critic' actually applies. Objective analysis is the key phrase there. Sadly in this day and age, there are those who will carefully construct a fabricated narrative and pass off their agenda as a fact in a very convincing manner. No idea how/why they find the time.

I'm actually less likely to believe that a...

There's a difference between a critique and purposely seeking out every article about PS4 and its exclusives and loudly proclaiming whatever denigrating statements are popular at that given time, and exhorting the virtues of their opposition. That's not opinion driven, that's agenda driven, and that's what some users here do on a daily basis.

I can understand people who express their opinion, and I don't deny them that no matter what it is. When I see the ...

So I guess this is the new way to drag the game down. First it was the graphics had been downgraded, then it was that the game had too many QTEs and not enough action, and when all of that was proven untrue now people attack the game for not being long enough. There are those people who go from article to article, shouting their agenda as loud as they can because they need people to listen and believe.

I remember when this hobby used to be playing games.

"There's a single reason why we're having this heated debate"

Because it's an exclusive title.

Should be re-categorized as "humor" or the closest equivalent.

Considering how angry he got when people kept asking him about the game, some of harsh things he said about the way he was treated, and the fact that someone tweeted him that picture and he just retweeted it, I highly doubt that he's in the game.

"Why would anyone who wants to play this game watch a whole walk through?"

I think you just asked and answered your own question.
People will go great distances these days to tear down anything good about the "other side".

Ryse was crapped on after release, and for good reason.

4156d ago 15 agree17 disagreeView comment

@uptownsoul: I think we can aim a little bit higher than that. Or a lot higher.

@darx: That's just not valid.

I would rather have a shorter game that was excellent, than a long game that was awful. Or in the case of Ryse, a short game that is awful.

The point is that some people are going out of their way to post on every story about The Order and try to tear it down for no reason. They don't have any experience with the game, so you have to ask yourself why they do it?

No reason they both can't be true.

I might consider it if they did a HD collection, since I liked the first one more than the second.

It would be better than the reputation he has now.

Not a bad plan, Pete. Just saying.
