Hell, Halo 2 still has a good three thousand playing on any given time, and Halo 3 has a good 150,000 with 250000 on weekends. It's nice that the series has a strong following.
It's sad that online communities die out so quickly on consoles after around 2 years of release, although there are some exceptions being CoD2, CoD3, Warhawk, Halo 2 and several others.
At least for PC gaming there will always be a good 5 communtity for most games. StarCraft is on its what...
I prefer the westernized version but I'm sure many would like the option to choose which they prefer.
It's bad editing to add PS3 until it has been confirmed even though we know it will probably go on that platform.
"The war against the Elite’s is in full gear and it’s up to you and the crew of the Spirit of Fire ship to save the universe… so that Master Chief can save it again in future… multiple times… and then finish the fight… or whatever."
I lol'd here.
We have no idea if Sony owns the publishing rights. Did they publish the PC version? No. You claim Mass Effect is going to the PS3 even though MS published it on the 360 but not the PC version. Sony published the PS version but not the PC version so if Mass Effect can supposedly go to the PS3 then then FF7 can go to the 360.
I was skeptical of this game at first, but now I want it with a passion. The marketing MS does really works, instead of hyping their games up 2-1 years in advance and leaving the gamers unhappy with the wait, they market it in the months just before release so that the gamers have a minimal time in waiting for the game. Is it possible for me to like Halo Wars even more than Halo 3?
Why don't we leave the classics classic?
Why not just port FF7 over to XBLA and PSN.
Imagine if they used this art direction and storyline for a live action movie.
After seeing these cutscenes and playing the demo the game went from buy to OMG MUST FVCKING BUY.
OMG the cutscenes are fvcking amazing.
Glitchzone 2?
Lol just joking.
But we'd have to use the 360 gamepad, lets face it, it's way better.
If having PS360 would shift market favor in Sony's and MS way then I would support it. Their platforms preserve the hardcore games market while the Wii is killing it. If it kills the deathgrip the Wii has on marketshare then I'm down for it.
@Obama
I thought to you PS fanboys scores didn't matter?
Well the Xbox brand has always had the RPGs I liked, mainly I prefer WRPGs but I enjoy the occasional JRPG. Beginning with Fable and Kotor MS solidfied my purchase of the xbox. And then with my 360 I get Fable 2 and Mass Effect. I feel I chose the right console for my RPG tastes.
"Jennifer Hale
One of the most well-known female voice actors. She's Naomi Hunter from Metal Gear Solid 1 and 4, Bastila from KotoR, Alex from Eternal Darkness, and Samus from Metroid Prime 2."
They forgot the female version of Shepherd in Mass Effect. I hope she continues to voice the main character in ME2 as she is extremely talented.
I'm looking forward to this game and I know without even playing the game from Bioware's past track record that the story will be amazing. Everything Bioware touches turns to gold and they really appreciate their fans unlike some companies cough*squareenix*cough.
This article is fail. Bioshock isn't an RPG.
"But even today, most of the levels or universes revolve around the same typical themes:"
Bull, this applies more to JRPGS than WRPGS. The story is almost the same every time. It usually (but not always) revolves around some feminine young man with spiky hair and a big sword saving the world from the ultimate evil.
"Any one who’s played Mass Effect will agree that while it has a massive am...
Ahhahahahaha, wow this article is good, one of the best on N4G in a long time.
The Halo Wars demo was suprisingly good and convinced me to buy the game. Now I have a full gaming month in March with RE5, SO4 and Halo Wars.
As I don't have a PS3 yet (hopefully in the future) I really can't get KZ2, but at least it saves me the choice of choosing which games to get.
Mass Effect 2 is my two most anticipated game from Bioware, but I'm still looking forward to this game. I think there's only 3 decent WRPGS coming out in the next 12 months. ME2, Dragon Age, and the Witcher. I know the next Elder Scrolls game won't be coming out anytime soon. However, my hype is building for this game and I look forward to it's release.
