If you're gonna be an idiot at least get your facts straight. There is no "battle ax" there is a gravity hammer and an energy sword. Halo 3 was M rated just like Killzone 2, if 12 year olds can get the game then they can just as well get Killzone 2. Good luck getting away from the 12 year olds. Fortunately I have the mute option.

A fair article, but you have to keep in mind that the largest demographic of gamers other than children is horny males. Developers pump titles out that fit what this cohort craves. It's all about sales and appealing to a broad audicence. If there were two games being made one is CoD and one is the Grey's Anatomy game the CoD game will outsell it 10:1 because it appeals to a larger gamer demographic. Basically developers follow the money.
You were doing well until the Star Wars part. This looks nothing like Star Wars. Star Wars doesn't have ships that expand like a giant birds. The most direct comparison you could make between an RPG and Star Wars would be Mass Effect.
We'll see from the demo before I decide. The art direction looks nice though. I hope it goes well for EA.
So we have beautiful model like rebels who are misunderstood fighting against teh evil government who all wear evil masks. I can't help but say that the art and story direction are shaping up to be very cliched. Why do I feel more sympathetic to the government then Snow's crew?
Is Fallout 3 your first RPG because it sounds like you haven't played a lot? It's people like you which lead to PC gamer's superiority complex and cause them to look down on us console gamers. Fallout 1 and 2 were classics, Fallout 3 is just a marginally good game. A good RPG is story driven and the story sucked. Read my complaints up top.
Shivering Isles is an expansion not DLC, Knights of the Nine is DLC tho. Same with Burnout Paradise it's an expansion not DLC. Although I would consider Lost and the Damned more of an expansion rather than DLC even if the developers and MS thinks differently.
What's embarrassing is that DLC gets more advertising then Killzone 2.

He should of played the SP first, I made sure before I went online in Gears 2 I beat the SP. The single player is there for a storyline and as a learning curve for the multiplayer. Even when I first started the online portion I was at a measly 1 kill or down to 2-4 deaths. It just takes a bit of time and pretty soon you'll be a killing machine. Now I dominate noobs with hammerburst because all people try to use the lancer which sucks in firepower compared to the hammerburst.

Am I the only one who thinks Fallout 3 was mediocre 7.5? I played the entire game twice and I enjoyed it but there was nothing really special about it. The game was incredibly shallow and the story and voice acting was terrible. I'm an avid RPG gamer and after playing the original KOTOR I branched into classics such as Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1, Arcanum, so I feel I know the WRPG genre pretty well.

Well I enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard, it was a good movie but like many sequels of a sequel of a sequel of the original it is never as good as the original.
I believe he'll stay true to the series but will put his own spin to the movie. And I bet the Gears of War movie will be Epic.
