2 million sales on the 360 and 330k on the PS3 and there's talk of it being a PS3 exclusive. Please stop.
They are not breaking any laws. The ESRB ratings are guidelines and companies self impose these restrictions upon themselves. There is no law stating that you can't sell a mature rated game to a minor.
The ESRB are only guidelines and retailers are legally allowed to sell mature games to kids, but retailers choose not to.
Under their proposed bill, If a store says it enforces the ESRB's ratings on a game then fails to do so, it could be liable for up to $2,000 in fines per incident.
This'll just lead to all stores deciding to void their commitment to ESRB ratings, so they can get around this bill and more little kids will get their hands on mature rated games. ...
Forget the economy, lets waste our time debating about videogames.
The 360 architechture is very much like a PC's and Crytek being PC devs should have no problem with it. The PS3 on the otherhand is difficult to develop for, that's why they got Free Radical.
60 million budget for KZ2 and then an unknown amount in advertising and a loss for including the game free with bundles.
1 million x $60 per game = 60 million.
They still haven't hit the revenue necessary to cover all the expenses which include marketing and development.
It's rediculous how expensive games are in Australia. Here in Canada the Halo 3 LE with MC helmet was only like $100 and that helmet was life size. I feel sorry for you Aussie gamers.
Looks like the shooter the Wii has been waiting for.
It's called the theatre, your past 25 matches are saved there. Basically you can watch the match from your viewpoint or free roam as a flying camera. In the theatre you can save clips, take photos, and edit them. Then you can upload them onto your file share on xbl enabling others to view your work. All this is done on the console too. No PC required.
Frankly for a game of Killzone's stature and caliber it's expected that it should have these features considering how it "t...
For once I agree with HHG. All these were flops.
Like Halo 2 include a second campaign. A Covenant heretic campaign would be nice. Add a map editor and even more RTS elements and the sequel looks good. This would make Halo Wars 2 even more awsome than the original Halo Wars.
Funny, I have Halo Wars right now, and as soon as I upgrade my PC I'll have Empire.
News on Mass Effect 2, that's all I care about.
WAIT? Didn't the KZ2 ad feature a matrix bullet time like commercial. Well KZ2 doesn't have slo-mo. Sony is DUPING the consumer. The Sony ad does feature the ingmae engine rendering a cut-scene but not actual gameplay. I guess Sony duped millions of people.
2 million xbox live users who downloaded the demo in it's first week would disagree Premonition.
There were ads all over xbl showing Halo Wars gameplay.
I started RTS playing with Starcraft, then I played Starcraft Broodwar and then I moved onto other RTS games. Now I eagerly await Starcraft 2.
Halo Wars is light on the micromanagement but it is essentially a solid and good game. Furthermore, it's the best console adaptation so far.
Any gamer has a means of communication to find out about games whether it be IGN, MTV, or looking at the back of videogames cover. It has been emphasized and re-emphasized even more t...
RPG and TPS genres trumps the PS3.
Yes Uncharted is a TPS but it is more of an action game than a full blown shooter.
Mass Effect and Fable 2 are two great action rpgs and it seems the 360 has more jrpgs.
No one claimed KZ2 was a halo killer except stupid gaming websites like this. Halo does not need to be killed, just like Killzone 2 does not need a KZ2 killer. Just let it be.
Player vs player action......... I love the controls and I think it works great for the RE5 SP and Mercenaries SP but team deathmatch....... the controls aren't made to fight against other players, it's too slow.
"The upcoming downloadable content for Resident Evil 5 has been revealed in the strategy guide as Versus and Slayer modes for Mercenaries. Apparently it will be free and characters will feature altered loadouts."
The description up top is misle...
Well it's obvious the Wii could not handle RE5 and the Wii is not going to get RE6 exclusity over the 360 and PS3. Be happy Capcom even releases a RE game for you guys.
