imo, that is messed up. M$ is selling 360's like pc computers. specs are great but the consumers lose. i mean every year a new xbox 360 version??? whats next? xbox 360 server edition?

Thats great for Microsoft, they need more commercials. Especially more advertising towards Zune, if they want that to succeed. But then again they are in the business just to compete.
Yeah I pay the cost (PS3) to be the boss. My system has everything the above comment mentions. Bluray cost $400 so an extra $100 gets me a powerful console.

I was planning to get a second HDTV for my home, possible a 50" or more. Now that I've heard of these OLED's, I'll just wait a bit till they release 50 inchers =) Hopefully no longer than 2 years
I love hype, makes me feel giddy inside. Some hyped games may not deliver (ex: FFXII) but I don't care, its a great feeling.
Not surprising, PS3 over takes 360. I kind of knew this would happen, I don't think there would be anything to slow it down. I'm sure PS3 sales will just keep peaking from here on out. XBOX 360 sales slowing down.. Kinda knew that would happen too. Nintendo is doing real well and here just last year I thought they would be a distant 3rd. All 3 systems is doing real well though, I wonder if Microsoft will ever come out with a handheld. Hmmm....
Well I love my PS3. It does so much than just play video games, its beautiful, powerful, plays my music/ music videos, plays my bluray, surfs the net and recharges my phone via the usb port. Well I'm off to give it a rub...My P r e c i o u s

They complain and yet they drive ferrari's and lambo's. It's business and that's how it will always be. Also game costs spike $10/20% that should help with the cost.
Yeah Splinter Cell may be a more stealthier game but FUN-FACTOR and WOW-FACTOR goes to MGS series hands down. The series is one of the most enjoyable and entertaining game ever to hit earth. Game story even surpasses huge 40+ hour RPG/JRPG games.
I prefer quality of quantity. I mean who the hell buys 50+ exclusives a year?? I'd say the average gamer buys around 10-25 games a year.
Where did you get that info from? last I heard was that 50% of 360, ps3 and Wii owners have an HDTV.
