Uh, yeah. When it comes to peripherals, casuals will go out and buy external drumpads, guitars, microphones, dance pads...it's all casual.
REAL hardcore gamers will go out and buy both casual and "hardcore" peripherals (whatever those are...).

Based on the article, they will probably sell a lot. Maybe MS knows it's high for "core" gamers, which is why they haven't announced any "core games."
I'm guessing at the next E3, they'll have a new marketing push with an impressive lineup of hardcore games. Then at the end of the thing, they'll announce a price cut, new bundle, whatever...
But obviously, this current push is aimed solely at one thing: Holiday Shop...

There's no reason why an MMO by Blizzard shouldn't be released on a console. If you feel that it shouldn't then you've obviously never played a Blizzard MMO.
