I'm hungry for old fashion JRPGs and I hope this will satisfy my hunger, just 8 more days and I'll know.
I don't think having a "Buy, Rent, and Dodge" is efficient, because it depends on the reader, for me and most of my friends a 7.5 is good enough for a "Buy” score , while others see 7.5 as a "Rent", and allot of people see less than 9 as a "Rent" (which is a shame really).
So I think it would be better to leave the readers decides if they want to "Buy, Rent or Dodge".
Just my opinion.
I think he means "2.5/5 on GameSpy" not gamespot.
I'll try it just to see how Capcom handles the PSN.
Twisted Metal on the PS3 is a great addition to the line up of up coming games; I suspect an '09 release with full online game play.
But please Sony leave the 4 players split screen, its fun to play online but it's more fun to play with your friends, I don't want another Motorstorm where we have to take turns.
It's on the Japanese PS Store (which you access through a PC or the PS3 browser) as a PSP demo; you can't play it on the PS3.
I haven’t played this game (obviously since it's not released yet) but I fear that they will screw the best part of the game if they release it on PSN just like LocoRoco.
I'm telling every one, this year is going to be better than last year, I mean they missed allot of games in this list but still it looks promising.
I like how you say you don’t want over-hyped old franchises, but then when you mention Sony’s new franchises you say you want proven ones like Halo and Banjo Kazooi, Make up your mind.
You also said that the 1st year of PS3 games were garbage, but you forgot that before Gears of War, only Rainbow 6 and Oblivion were great on the 360 and the rest were medicore at best, and that’s the case with most consoles, the Wii and the PS2 had an average 1st year too, but I think the 1st ye...
That would be bad for the PS3 more than the Xbox360 since "The PS3 is a waste of everyones time" (I'm quoting Gabe BTW, just in case someone wants to call me a fan boy and tell me to go to the open Zone), and porting from PC to Xbox is a piece of cake as they say.
I love portal by the way and I want a sequel this year, on any console, please Valve.
If these help the drum pad live longer then ok, if not then not ok.
My yellow pad don't register all the hits, and it frustrating at times.
Ok why that degree of Yellow, It hurt my eyes. Could be different in real life, anyway I hope this doesn't cross over to here.
I hate it when people don't take credit, Miyamoto takes all the credit, but no one knows or give credit to this guy (I'm a fan by the way) and he worked on most of the Nintendo hits even more than Miyamoto did.
Some of the games he worked on (Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart and others.)
I understand that Miyamoto is Nintendo Poster boy but sill..
Ok so this game toke my breath when I saw their last video some 5 months ago (I think) but now WTH, if the game runs smoothly like this, then Naughty Dog has allot of work to do just to compete with this.
You know what's even better, I read somewhere that they want to license this engine to any one once it's done, Imagine that.
Good thing I didn't pre-order this pack from Play-Asia, when amazon gets it they will ship it for free which will save me some $12.
Cheers to the Playstation brand, may it entertain us for generations to come.
*Sigh* I really hate idiots, people need to know that times has changed, Video games isn't just for kids, it's a stress releaser, and why not talk about the aging women who play games huh? I've seen them in the US, UK, Japan, ME,… Every where I go I see women in their late 40's playing the DS and the PSP, even my aunt plays video games allot of the times (and there is nothing wrong with that), I've met older women in GOW so why don't you run along and write about how video games are making wo...
It's good to have a site that reviews PSone games, I don't know some of them.
The 360 been doing amazingly in SW sales, but this year should be interesting since the Wii and PS3 SW are also gaining steam.
Good point.
Yes I agree for people who are too lazy to read a review the "Buy, Rent, Dodge" scores may help, there is a site like this but I can't remember the name, they take a few reviews from all over the web and then give their verdict as "Buy, Rent or Pass".
