Statix if I'm not mistaken Ratchet runs at a solid 60 FPS here is the producer quoted answering a question on the PS blog:
"60fps and 720p is the preferred hi-res resolution. However, we do support 1080i so everyone with a HDTV can enjoy RCF:ToD in all it’s hi-def glory"
so if they can achieve a solid 60 FPS with such beautiful graphics in a year of the PS3 life maybe just maybe 4 years from now they can achieve 1080p @ 60FPS.
Excellent, you guys should join me online to see me hit those Halford notes (hopefully) perfectly, too bad you can't hear me while playing online.
\M/
Did you try opening the port (you can see the number in the small menu right before you start the download) from your modem or router, it boosted my speed 4 times when I did it.
That is the best news I heard today, hopefully future attempts will fail too.
Been trying for hours, no luck...Guess I'll try later
Yeah Indigo had a great story and game play, that's why I'm so hyped for Heavy Rain (from the same team).
I totally agree FF9 is the best FF ever, I'm planing on re-buying it soon.
2 of my friends decided to go with the PS3 instead of the Xbox 360 because of home, but buying it just for home I don't think so.
I just downloaded it, rumble works (Tekken feels allot better with it) and the online mode is there, nice update over all very small and very fast.
You know a friend told me a few days ago that this game is really fun (and he's very judgmental) and after I read your review I might actually give this a try, I love the online bit were you don't have to wait. Excellent review by the way short and sweet.
I would have preferred it if Sept was for Resistance 2 and Nov for Killzone 2 that way I would have the time to play the hell out of Resistance Co-Op before jumping to Gears 2, I'm still not sure about Killzone I'll have to wait and see, LBP is in another league so anytime is good for it I'll probably play it more than all the other games.
Can you please add a bit more about online game play, like is it laggey, can you access your friend list, frame issues. Other than that great review.
Good review, I just finished the game last Friday and at one point I just wanted to finish and get over with it, which exactly what I did, it’s a good game but it gets boring really fast, so rent it, that’s what I suggest.
I burst out laughing when I read this " We did ask Sony to contribute to the feature, but it responded with "this issue isn't really related to any of our products". Erm...?"
lol, anyway developers should g and take a class in Naughty Dog's studio, Uncharted shut up all the haters and it only takes a 3 MB (your game play Settings), but guessing most of the games they talked about are multi-platform they had to deal with it someway (in a bad way if you ask me)....
I went and checked it on the official site, the 60Gb has no problems at all, they are talking about the 80Gb.
I hope they will keep this feature one they release it on the PS3.
I love a game with a solid story, so that’s one of the things I might enjoy in Haze but We’ll wait and see.
Take your time Sony, we already looking forward to too many games this year, March 2009 sounds sweet.
For anyone who didn’t get the chance to play this game, I highly recommended that you go and pick this game up, it’s really fun and it’s not as huge as GTA so it won’t stop you from playing the games coming on the same time, I finished the game completely (%100) in 21 hours or a bit more (can’t remember exactly).
I'm sure there are some mistakes in the numbers, Call of duty 4 sold more than 2 millions on the PS3 and soccer games like FIFA (around 1.2 millon if I'm not mistaken) and PES 08 (1.4 millions I think) sold more than Ratchet, but interesting article over all, never new nintendo were doing that bad last generation.
