This seems fishy. Then how come so many games on the ps3 run at 720,1080i, and 1080p, and most 360 games are lower than that. Look at halo 3. Plus Have they played ninja gaiden sigma or especially rachet and clank where there is almost 0 load times, from gameplay to cutscene and zero loud time from area to area. I remembering playing guitar hero on my ps2 and it still had load times. Its not like those games had great graphics to begin with.

haha no it isn't. Its really funny, how liberals say how biased fox news is, but then all the conservatives claim CNN covers up stories that support anything repulicans policies. I have to agree with Vaan. Yeah all those games you mentioned are hyped and ps3 owners can't wait for them, but thats not all there is. There are soo much more than that coming, thats why this whole no games arguement is even more silly. Look not everyone is a shooter fan, I love shooter games, but i love J-rpgs more. yup, this is THE reason why I prefer ps3 over the 360. I love variety, I love japan, and I love rpgs. Only rpgs that will every come on the 360 will be lost odyssey types, not diseaga, la pucelle, phatom brave, soul nomad type games. Shoot they won't even see yakuza type games. You know what they prob don't care either, just proves however that ps fans on average are more rounded gamers and niche titles will always have a place.
well it all depends on what type of game it is really. I mean 15-18 hours rpg thats horrible. 50 hours at least for rpgs. Games like COD don't really need long single player as long as the multiplayer is sweet, and the single player exp is fun. Games like heavenly sword only really need to be 6-10 tops. If it goes longer it could ruin the gameplay make it tiring or the story suffers.

anyway you haven't played Psychonaut then, man that game had a great story, smartest game i have played in a while. The writing was pure geniuses all the way through. Not discounting Zelda though.
sorry you won't get physconaunts on the xbox, actually it was supposed to be only on the xbox and they feared that it wouldn't do well since it wasn't what xbox fans go for (shocker!!!), so they shifted development for the ps2 as well. Not enough ps2 owners gave it a chance either :( however if they did a sequel i think more people would buy it, i got my copy way down the line and I think more people are aware of it, the sequel would sell well, oh well...

I also think the persona games should be on there. Besides it spin-offs haven't sold well.
turok 2 was a hit.earthworm jim was such a hit it had a tv show.Legacy of kain was a hit enough to have three sequels come on red, those are good games, but they did well enough. this doesn't make sense. I don't see them coming out with another SKU that could cost more than the 40 gig ps3. That wouldn't be smart for them. Plus it wouldn't be fair for people who already got a 360. If they did this from the start then it would have be really smart, but now I think its too little too late.
well i agree on heavenly sword and motorstorm, but don't knock odin sphere, you prob haven't play it. I love side scrollers and rpgs and odin sphere is that. The characters are 2-d yes but they breath off the screen. If games never imporved in graphics odin sphere whould be a great example on how you can keep on making great ideas. I'm actually glad it got pushed back, there is simply just too much coming out this holiday for me to get this, so the delay is actually going to increase my chances of buying it, unless it gets bad reviews across the board, then no chance..
ah I can see the crappy movie now. A bunch of sexy looking teens go on vacation in europe. Some how they here the myth of dracula's castle and deceide to stay there one night for a thrill only to realize, the myth is real!!!! slowly each on gets killed off, with dracula dying at the very end when the "hottest" girl and "hottest" boy some how make it outside in the morning, tricking dracula to his doom. Its going to be pg-13 and 73 mins long.haha. See I could be a hollywood...
yup, warhawk is even fun for people like me who don't like online only games. I normally like to strive for something and the ranking system and unlocking new and cool outfits are a plus for me. Its really fun joining a clan with friends have them all come over and play split screen on my huge HD-TV and come up with great team gameplans.
most in depth review?? Hardly. The review was like seven paragraphs long. Ign was two pages long. Three times as long actually. Garbage. I'm sorry, but the simple fact that you being spoiled by bioshock, which is a FPS, has nothing do with this type of game, you sound like this reviewer, very biased over one genre. There is nothing wrong with liking one over another, but then you have no right to judge that game.
20 hours?? my god, no, 40-60 hours, then with the option to play more by side quests and building up and stuff, but 20 hours for an rpg is horrible, thats like 3 hour action game.
