I was under the impression that the viewing angles are pretty awful. It may very well be that the tech needs more work. But hey, I admittedly know very little.
Well said.
I would shed tears of joy should another chrono game ever be annonced. It may be strange, but amazing as Chrono Trigger was, and it was so very amazing, Chrono Cross may very well be my most favorite game of all time.
I just want them to fix the whole "enemy is out of your range but can still attack you from behind walls or entire floors above or below you" feature. How was this not an issue to the devs? It's a problem. Fix it. I really want to love this game...
I agree the use of Hebrew is very interesting.
I would love to see a remake but I'm not convinced that Square would do it justice. There will be excitement and anxiety if a remake ever gets announced. I may be strange though. I really want some turn based combat and I know the majority of people hate turn based combat. I'd love to see the return of the materia system too.
I'd like to think that if Vs ends up on the 360 that Nomura would be pretty upset. From what I hear (which is admittedly mere speculation)he prefers the PS3. Not being a dev I have no idea how the politics work, but I would hope Square would fight to keep him. I know if he left, I'd follow.
We don't have any money left...at least, I don't.
It's not a picture... but hey it was fun and I'll share it.
Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I do miss good old turn based combat. However, at the same time I realize that a lot of people really hated it. I think we are in the minority. I'm sure this will be fun though.
Agreed, I just hope that in the future they don't try to add so much it becomes cluttered. It's good now, but yeah, keep it nice and tidy.
It was a great update. We all have our preferences (I am also not a huge fan of the larger XMB or the new friends list), but its really not that big a deal. The things I like far outweigh the things I would have rather they kept the same. Sure it would be nice to edit things how I want them, but now I'm just being picky. It's free so ima go enjoy it.
All of the main characters in Final Fantasy had dialogue (with the exception of FFI I believe). There was no voice acting, but they had things to say. Really I was hoping for Serge from Chrono Cross to make the list. Not really surprised he didn't though. Oh well.
I dunno, as much as I want an FF7 remake (and I really do) I can't help but wonder if it would get screwed up along with the recent plethora of screwed up square games. That having been said, they better make it before Nomura decides to bolt and go somewhere where his work is appriciated.
It's advertising 101. If you do not control the higher market share than you try to prove why you are better than the person in the top spot. If you are in the top spot then your job is to do your best to completely ignore the competition.
Nathan Fillion is by far the best choice for the role...alas.
Well yeah, we all got our PS3's for rpgs. There are already so many shooters. That having been said, I did break down and get Killzone and it's pretty much awesome.
Ps3 huh? Are they thinking they actually want to sell games this time around?
We are hoping it will be better. There's always hope. Nomura is at the helm here so...we'll see.
