A lot of people would miss it mastiff, that was my point. You, me, we'd pick up on it. But others wouldn't.
I know, and in most cases I would agree. But it just seems more 'right' on console. Maybe that's bullshit, but it's never felt like a 'pc game' if that makes any sense (which it probably doesn't).
Besides, I know far more people with it on console than I do with it on pc.
It's one game I feel more comfortable playing on console than on pc anyway.

EDIT:Also, I like the cut of this authors jib. Sarcastic and yet well presented in a way that most people won't pick up on the sarcasm. To be applauded for sure.

It looks like an excellent game so far, and when it releases I'll base it on its own merits.
I will need a week off work when I buy this game. Civ is like a time machine, if you want to advance a few hours just start a game - before you know it it's 5am! And there's that text telling you to end your turn......just one more...what about work?.....just one more turn.....what about work?......fuck work......

I bought it, played it and loved it. From the forums I've been on plenty of other people have done the same. I don't know what forums you've been on.

If anyone's ignorant it's you. Ever thought they still play fps's on pc because they prefer it? I have consoles and a pc but PREFER to play them on my pc as it's, in my opinion, the best way to play them.
I'm looking forward to 'Top 5 power switches', 'Top 5 game manuals' and 'Top 5 letters of the alphabet'.
