Not entirely true. Yes between Sony and Microsoft what you stated is true however the Steam Consoles have been and will continue to be the Most Powerful Console Ever Made.........well at least as of now through this current console generation.

If you're talking about the Neo in the Matrix you are almost right. He was running on at least 10 of them.
As long as you have a beefed up desktop you will be fine....not everyone has those.

I don't agree with the writer when he says we would get a down sampled 4k to 1080p\30 FPS game. The system should know what our TV specs are, the game should run at native 1080p\60.
The only thing I didn't like about GOW4 was the new voice actor. I think the old voice actor has more of a I'm the King voice.
I'm a fanman of Technology not consoles. I own them all and plan on getting the new ones as well.
AMD is not worried about the console AMD war, don't forget they make more money from the AMD's that are in the PC's
+1, and with that huge bandwidth the draw-in distance should be crazy. I hate the draw-in effect.

+1. This is what puzzles me. They tell everyone that the console is optional, it doesn't change anything for the regular PS4. If the hardware is right and I can get a constant 1080p 60FPS minimum I will gladly buy an upgraded console. These are optional consoles, console made for those who want something better\faster. I for one will be buying both the PS4N and the X1S. I can give my current one to the wife, she likes the Kinect fitness stuff and my son will like the PS4 to go with his X1, PS3 and WiiU.
