Did they declare and assure everyone that the bad things WILL happen? Did they say "Oh you don't like that, we'll make sure it'll happen then"? Well if they didn't, how can it be a promise? They did not "promise" it will happen, the brought their idea to the community. Bringing ideas =/= promise.

Microsoft promised us games at E3, so when they do is that suddenly a problem? Is it just that you don't want games? To be honest, your comment makes no sense. I don't even know what you're trying to say. The two sentences don't even match let alone make sense.

Now that's just a silly thing to say. If you HAVE to have Kinect, there will HAVE to be games for it. It is the equivalent to selling a keyboard without the keys, or the Playstation Move without games.

Also, I thought that having a variety of games was a better thing? I sure as hell don't mind if there is a lot of choice, even though I don't like some. Everyone has their individual tastes, others don't have to conform to your view.

You can have next-generation graphics. For example, the jump in detail from PS3 graphics limitations to PS4's potential as shown in the announcement.

So you are in a way correct, I just see next-gen as a 'large hop' in technology.
