Disc sales 2 to 1 but hardware on the market that can play the discs 12 to 1...
Shows how little bluray discs are actually being sold for the userbase..
When each games developer does it differently and there is no relevance outside of the game.
Thats the problem with PS3 games every dev is doing something different nothing is the same across games.
Why would sony want to block MS using bluray? Not that any of their partners would allow it even if sony wanted to..
You do understand that sony pays MS millions of pounds every year to use windows on their PC's and laptops they sell?
They are tracking even from Patcher to have a 30 odd percent market share instead of less than 15% last time...
sony will go from 80% share to 30% now whos in trouble again?
The 360s graphical power is unquestioned the games look great, just look at the PS2 it was far from the best grapically powerful console but was more than good enough.
It will take them years to get any development up and running, although they may decide its is financially not worth it

Im going to install linux on my PS3 again at the weekend and play Kane and lynch streaming from my pc..
Kane and lynch is a games for windows live game so i will be connected to xbox live aswell..
So ill be playing kane and lynch while connected to xbox live getting achievements on my PS3 (well sort of) :-)
Except you need the fully speced pc to play it on :-)

MS knew they would make $120m in one day there was zero risk on that 30m investment unlike many other games
Seriously im surprised its not more this article is a non issue for me most games dont get the luxury of guaranteed 200m plus returns so there is no gasp from other publishers because the situation is totally different

Its very easy to mute someone forever on XBL or for MS to ban the console from live can this be done on PSN?
At first glance maybe but when you look at it if game x has the same shelf space for 360 and PS3 and the 360 version sells 3 times more (which is usually the case) the company need to make that shelf space pay..its either sell the PS3 version for more or dont give it shelf space
