It had a satisfying ending to many character arcs, but not necessarily the game itself. Roxas, the Birth By Sleep trio, and many others had a great ending to their stories.
Have you tried Critical Mode? It kicked my ass!
Agreed! Kingdom Hearts' combat can be very challenging, especially in the late game.
Don't you think having everything everyone loved about all of the other titles is something to be worried about though? It's getting whacky.
Looking forward to playing this. The anime has a lot of potential for a game.
Why should linear be a bad word? It gives better storytelling, provides more world building, and less repetitive missions.
I wish he'd just work on the games he's working on rather than these side projects.
Development is a tricky thing. If a trailer is released 3 months before the game comes out and it looks amazing, and then it looks horrible when it releases, I can understand the aggravation. However, I think it's fair to see a downgrade if the engine or the consoles can't handle it if the trailer before was a year out. We as a gaming community have to think more practically.
I wish they'd put this effort into a story mode.
Dragon Quest VIII. A proper remaster, not one on 3DS.
It's refreshing to hear that someone new to the series likes the game. It has flaws but Caroline gets why this game is so prominent in many fans' (excuse me for saying this) hearts.
or we don't have enough money to justify a second console and get it just for a few games.
It makes you wish Nintendo would just go third party already.
Review scores like this just seem odd to me.
It isn't milking if there is a desire for it.
I found it really jarring, and I hated it when the wonderful overworld music was interrupted.
Development is unpredictable. Sometimes it doesn't work your way. I don't think most people will see it that way though. I think it's going to come out on the Wii U, but we have seen projects like Final Fantasy XV and The Last Guardian presumably on PS3 and then getting moved to PS4.
I'm tired of this topic. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Developers should have the freedom to design their characters however they like.
Morrigan is the worst! I hate watching the pros spamming her moves.
And it makes no sense to me. The game's a mess in terms of its map design, the checkpoints are too far apart, and the characters aren't that interesting. Remedy got lucky.
