It's all a matter of opinion. I think these games look great. I'm someone who grew up with the PS2 J-RPG's in the 2000's.
I agree with you. Most recent RPG's have been subpar, and if indies can generate new ideas while giving us a sense of nostalgia of what J-RPG's used to be like, that's great for the genre.
I'm really hoping they show Beyond Good and Evil 2!
It sure is!
I love how we're getting classic style games back in this generation.
I totally agree with Archer and Avatar.
I meant to say early release exclusive. My mistake! It's still annoying to those who have played the games on PlayStation since it came out.
I actually wrote an article about Square Enix's possible comeback. It seems much more likely now. I just hope they release Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 soon.
I just wish it wasn't Xbox exclusive. It originally started on PlayStation so that hasn't agreed with me since the announcement.
I'm starting to dislike this idea coming up time and time again. If it makes sense with what they want to make, I want a female character. They shouldn't have to add female characters just to appease people.
Same goes the other way around. If they write a story for a female character, then they shouldn't switch her for a male lead to "increase sales."
I think the actual problem is the lack of female developers within game development.
I don't care for the Japanese voice acting.
It's rare that we get a simultaneous release for Square Enix's games.
I'm guessing a VR PlayStation Home.
It doesn't matter to me. Male, female, I don't care as long as the character is well written.
What do you guys think of smart phone gaming?
I don't get the excitement for Splatoon at all. Spraying the area with paint doesn't sound fun.
I hope Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China is good!
What do you think of the voice talent so far?
I want a new epic RPG IP from Bethesda rather than Fallout 4.
All three of these games are targeted for Wii U as well, which is cool.
