The bit about "Watch Dogs" was interesting. I think that gives a good idea of the less apparent benefits of cloud computing.
I would love to save some money, but I think the price drop is unnecessary. The fully integrated Kinect functionality is more than worth that $100 over the PS4. If you were to buy the PS4 camera for the $60 they are charging, you wouldn't get a tenth of the benefits.
Easy fix. Software patch to default off and then users can turn it on if they choose.
There are a lot of people on the sensationalist bandwagon. MS made a misstep by doing all media at one presentation and all games at the other, granted. Everyone needs to just reserve judgement until MS's games presentation at the E3 press conference. I know I shouldn't be surprised at the internet's rush to torches and pitchforks, but come on!
I hate to break this to everyone, but both systems are great. Really great. You will like them. If you don't, d...
It looks great! Thank you for doing this for us!
Nice production!
I agree that the 360 launch was a mess and that charging for access to video services is lame, but Microsoft does so many things right that people have stuck by the system and the service. What are we at now? 14 straight months of being the best selling console in the US with the highest attach rate of software and accessories? You can't really argue with success. Does Sony have the superior hardware? In many ways, yes. Does it seem to matter to consumers? Not much.
Thanks for the approvals!
This is the stuff that never gets mentioned... the design facilities for products that print money!
Those guys are jerks... they didn't let Wonder answer any questions!
My copy and pasted code worked to see if I won, but I got the "Enter Valid Code" error when trying to redeem my points.
What, no Kinect version? Haha!
I checked the Best Buy website and there weren't any available anyway. Not available for shipping, in-store pickup or ship to store at any location in CO or NM. Heck, they could have said $5 if they didn't actually have any in stock anyway!
Nicely done, Cat! I miss local multi-player!
Cedar Point? I don't even go to Elitch Gardens, which is less than two miles from my house!
I was looking into this for our show and contacted RakNet. While he did confirm that RakNet was a tools and middleware partner for the Xbox 360, nothing was said about Steam integration.
Exactly.
Thank you for all you do!
Absolutely makes sense, because you would need to buy an extra controller and two navigation remotes to get full functionality for two people. People buying for their families may be hooked for even more items!
MS isn't banning legit copies of the game received early. They are banning pirated copies of the game, running on modified systems, a clear violation of the terms of service. It happens with every game, but only gets attention with popular games. It is the modified system connecting to Xbox Live which gets them nicked. If they quietly played their pirated software with no internet, they would be just fine.
