hate day one patches... devs are getting sloppy (and EA, Activision etc. are getting greedy)... I'd prefer them to delay a product for a week (or month) and get it right from the start... they are to dependant on using the internet to fix their buggy software...
whish they would just stop twatting about and chuck a single track demo up onto PSN...
tbh "some" indie titles are worse than the £1.99 Mastertronic and Firebird games I used to buy for my ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC... and that sort of shoddy quality needs to stop...
as long as the devs dont bitch about the game not selling as many as they thought... then go ahead make your re-mastered versions... just realize your target market may be reduced...
Sniper Elite requires skilled players... not stupid little kiddies quickscoping... hence the quantity of players will be less...
in beat-em-ups I tend to play female characters for the speed advantage they sometimes have... I also like the female charcters in Gears...
I was gonna take the pee out of McDonalds with their selfie flurrie compo, and make sure people saw that in comparison to all the ads and pics... lol
hackers should get a full Console Mac address ban, not just a account ban... so the device can no longer connect to online service...
cheats first offence should get issued warning and suspended from going online for eg. 1 month... second offence gets perm ban with a £50 fee to unban it, with a no chance of reactivation at any cost on third offence... then if the same console is detected with a anyone cheating then Mac address ban the console...
as for d...
because of the hacking, cheating and quickscoping I will proably never play another COD/MW/BO game ever again...
it will possibly be a short SP if you play it on the easiest difficulty [cadet]... on the PS4 was a bit of a bargin in comparison to other PS4 games for £40 (especially with the free grey wolf DLC included as pre-order bonus)...
one of the best single and multiplayer games I have played was Gears of War 3 and Judgment (in fact whole Gears series was pretty good)... shame they were locked to MS, would have been great if everyone could play them... would have been nice to see Gears in a first person mode too...
bots should only be used for practice, and should not be used in proper multiplayer games... and tbh I wouldnt even look at Titanfall 2 without a single player campaign to work through... single...
shame Sony and game developers dont take a more active role to eradicate cheaters from the PSN games and from PSN in general...
dont you mean you got stung by paying for the Beta dressed up as a full working game in a retail box... I'm with you on that... it wasnt a very good buying experience, let alone the very poor gaming experience...
I think alot of people will be holding off buying the next Battlefield game until they see a working product for themselves...
tbh there is very little reason why Battlefield Hardline couldnt be paid for DLC add-on for Battlefield 4... its really only a re-skin with a new game mode... and you still get the same little twat kids messing it all up for people that want to actually attempt the objective of the game... not sure yet if I am willing to part with full price money for this on day of release, when Battlefield 4 was sold in such a big mess in both single and multi player parts of the game...
that must be close to a re-write let alone a patch... really dont know why they just don't delay the game for a week and avoid day one patches, they are so annoying for any game (especially when they are these sort of downloads)...
GAME has more exclusive content and charge for the privilege, instead of using it as a insentive to purchase from them instead of other retailers... as for myself I prefer to save £5 - £15 on a title than have a few extra bits of DLC... so I will always only compare prices with GAME and in most cases buy elsewhere (in particular online)...
think I have bought only 2 titles from GAME in as many years... I just find it cheaper (online mainly) elsewhere... in our town ...
of course this pre-order problem would have been fixed it would have been the eventual death to the whole pre-order system if it hadnt... also tbh it would have made very poor business sense not to correct it...
moral of the story NEVER PRE-ORDER without a pre-order guarantee (like on Amazon)...
sorry but Sony will possibly be hit hard by these actions, even if they are right, they dropped the price on release so really should give a credit at the very least... they will possibly suffer in the end if they don't... by their actions they may have just killed the pre-order service...
guitarded77 said: "@ sonarus Absolutely. That's why I pre-order through Amazon. No money down, so there is nothing to lose."
@ guitarded77 - dont always trust Amazom Pre-Order price guarantee, its not on all products... most items on Amazon are the Price you see is the price you pay at pre/order... be aware you have make sure it has a Amazom Pre-Order price guarantee when you order or you may get stung... (video games do normally have pre-order price guarante...
I think Destiny is a step in the right direction... after playing COD for far to many years... Destiny is like a breath of fresh air... lets all see how it pans out... but looking good so far... keep up the good work Bungie...
