for a start I have yet to play any version of Metal Slug that requires a patch... unlike Mercenary Kings that requires patches... something like a 2D scrolling shooter should not require patches, should be tested and working properly out of the gate... suppose thats the difference between Metal Slug (a proper arcade game) and Mercenary Kings (arcade game wannabe/look-a-likee)...
Mercenary Kings has nothing on Metal Sug... Metal Slug is the best and always will be...
yep, sell 10million copies on PS4 and only expect 100k to play online at once... der!!!
didn't miss it... I just didnt bother to make a big deal about it... I saw the flying creature (up in the sky) maybe a dragon or maybe something else who knows... does anyone really care... I suspect it was just a bit to add to the scenery... just like the flys, birds etc in other games that just add to the effects, but have little to do with the game...
Studios/Devs are desperate to get cash by any means (nothing like not using your own money these days)... they tried DLC, it worked but not well... they tried F2P it with microtransactions, worked but not well at on anything that wasnt mobile and only then it only worked when kids got hold of the device... now they are trying the MS cash hand outs... lets see how that pans out in the end...

but your possibly gonna get banned if you a device that allows you to use a different pad or remap your keys... der!!! anyway I doubt people will get banned when all other offences above are ignored...

why pre-order a game that is being released in/delayed until 2015... all these pre-orders on the highstreet cost money... and people are getting fed up with money sitting in other peoples banks... broken games from Day One that need patching dont help the situation...
btw: cancelled my pre-order for Evolve on Amazon because its being delayed for alledged Spit and Polish... I suspect its more like the Gameplay is a bit broken...

so lets compare a brand new pad with a pad thats around 9 months old... der... of course one will look glossy you ought to see how shiney my DS3 is... its nearly as polished as the HDD bay cover on my PS4... why because it gets used...
well Sony would be pretty stupid if they didnt modify the DS4 sticks (and other bits) with the rubber being ripped off by some people... bet some just scratched at it to see if it could peel...
considering Sony has more or less said its ditching its own first party development for the Vita... not a surprise people will want to crack this now... personally I am not happy with the way Sony is pushing indie games more on their systems...

I dont think bored is the right word... I think "fed up" would be better way to describe how I feel... and its not applied to all fps... its mainly aimed at COD/MW/BO/WAW... why only that series, well mainly because of the cheating, hacking and quickscoping... that makes the COD series very boring...
a console dosnt really have to go any better than 1080p as most peoples TV's are 1080p capable... (apart from the very few in comparison that have 4K TV's)... as for FPS anything upto 60fps is just fine and dandy...
yes we all know you can get a PC to do higher res and fps but who really cares when playing a console on a TV...
I suspect if it was released on both platforms at the same time it may have done better on the PS4 than it currently has, but who really knows... if it was £25 it may have performed better... it would have been with a punt...
