with the Samsung 980 Pro you will still need to add a heatsink on it if you want to put it in a PS5... the nickel coating & heat spreader label isnt going to be enough on its own in the PS5... Samsung are supposed to be bringing out there own branded (PS5 compatible) heatsink add-on at a later date... or just buy a third party Heatsink...

already got a WDBlack SN850 2TB (with heatsink) installed in PS5, brilliant, makes a big difference to PS5 game storage... got a Samsung 980Pro 1TB (as a spare, currently in a ROG Strix Arion SSD enclosure)) and 2 Heatsinks (Eluteng & QIVYNSRY)... got a Samsung T7 connected to PS5 with my PS4 games on...
shame Sony killed off DriveClub would have been great on PS5...

weapon dismemberment effects are crap as well most of the time you cannot even see what effect they did... DLC is a scam...
thing is its not just the PC owners cheating... just watch the so called "Best Player" footage at the end of the game (Cold War)... crossplay disabled, gamepad only... look in the top right for the words "customised" - yep, just cheating with a auto aim, no recoil, etc on a console also spot players account is offline (most times) and mouse icon (most times)...
Activisions idea of compression on Cold War is to delete parts of the game your not going to play much to get it to fit on your machine...
kudos to EA & Respawn Entertainment.... but this is the way things need to go... they want more money for their games with & without micro transactions, companies need to give something more back too... well done & thanks EA & Respawn Entertainment.
R&D how to get more cash out of the consumer for less effort... did they patent the research...
they've admitted they sell consoles at cost, not at a loss... big difference, considering like Epic they expect to start making a profit a few years later on down the line...
consoles were origanally designed to just play games "specific purpose devices", havnt been that way for quite some time, they are just as 'general purpose devices" as any other phone or PC... its a case of what the Console maker allows to run on the console... remember Linux on ...

dont forget Sony's (& every other console makers) 30% cut on every digital sale...
just go to CDKeys for your PS+ and PSN Top Ups... and Xbox, Nintendo and PC too...
Sony dont make their 30% cut by supporting old formats that not many buy games for... they obviously are cutting back things that make them little money, or cost them money to support...
so Console cheats/hackers get to still play cheat and hack...
