Yup. It’s really not meant to be played offline.. especially when you can only unlock certain cars when playing in a club. I like the game though, it’s not bad at all.
Right?! It’s hard to unlock cars that you can only get by playing online when you CANT play online. IMO if there wasn’t a multiplayer the game would be very boring...
I personally like the game! It’s alot of fun. It take some skill and “know-how” when you get to the higher level races. You can't just drive recklessly around the track and expect to get in first place. You need to know how to race.

The only thing I didn’t like about the review was the acceleration penalty.. I think that’s a stupid idea to put in a RACING game.

This is why I don’t buy games from Ubisoft.
It’s too bad.. by making the consoles the same through parity to avoid debates or discussions.. they inadvertently cause a huge debate.. The irony.

Dark Souls > Demon’s Souls > Dark Souls 2. Only thing I found to be better in Demon Souls were the NPC characters.. Dark Souls had better environments, bosses, weapon selection and memorable moments.
There is NG+ that transfers a lot of your progress over.

Single Player was ok. not worth more than 2 play throughs in my opinion (unless you’re going for the platinum). The Multiplayer is where’s it at. I’ve spent easily over 500 hours on it.

No, the AI definitely rubber bands (the programmed AI that is meant to be in 2nd and 3rd for each event. I was playing a sprint event and i was at 95% driving on a straight away at top speed,, a car comes whizzing past me (i know the car that drove past me, and i know its top speed is no where near mine). I like the game, but i wholeheartedly dislike rubber banding in a racing game.
