Why preorder or even buy the game when we'll all get the free PS+ version of it for 2 weeks first.
They're all PC ports though.

EB Games have confirmed it's coming out on the 29th for Australia.
I hate that Americans are getting it before the rest of us.

The PS3 & PS4 are region free, not only do you not need to worry about voltage levels, but you don't have to buy a specific power cable for it like you do with the Xbawks.
It uses any generic figure 8 cable which makes it very easy to replace.
The power supply failing isn't an issue with Playtation. I've heard of a few rare hardware problems people have and I've never heard of that one.

The console sells for less than this here in Australia, and we usually pay heaps more than you guys in America.
I'm sure if it actually released it'll be cheaper than $200, it must be a maximum RRP or placeholder.
Aceman, you're right. and alot of people already have a spare HDD laying around that they can use.
If you've ever upgraded your laptop's drive there's a spare drive.
