they decided it'd be better if she looked more rugged and almost like a tribal warrior rather than a vulnerable English archaeologist put into a death zone.
She also looks a bit too photogenic IMO, look at the screengrab in the article, she looks like a model rather than a person experiencing something.
Atleast they said this isn't her ongoing look, she'll look different in the sequel. So it doesn't really matter what her face looks like in this game. ...

that's not how generations work.
they're keeping the same amount of playable characters from the last game because they didn't want to re-write the code. (lazy buggers)
since they can't just tack on extra ones, they have to remove old ones, and people have their favourite character(s) so they can't just replace the old characters.
I hate when the most amusing part of japanese games are the text, text is so worthless, anyone can type out anything, it's such a small string of bytes.

Games are re-released and ported to other platforms all the time, with this one they actually bothered to enhance it a little, isn't that a good thing?

every ps4 in the world got sold and gamers bought x1s for christmas instead.
The article is a load of shite, they only ported the game and it's engine so they could re-work it for the sequel.
they make it out like they went to huge lengths just to have it on the X1/PS4 but their main agenda is obviously the new game.
Though I'm glad the game exists and I can see why they're trying to convince people it's worth the US$60/AUS$80 .
