Killzone 1 did not 'suck'. Have you ever played it? I think it at least reaches 'okay' standards, but not suckage.

I don't think Microsoft are very good at coming up with names, unless they're self-explanitory (Windows, Office, etc.) I mean, if we weren't so used to hearing "Xbox", we'd think it was a stupid name. Because it is. Worse than the "Wii", in my opinion.
I know the name doesn't really count for much, but I think Sony owned that aspect. "Playstation", that's just the best console name ever, is it not? ...

I totally agree with what you said regarding double standards of the "core gamer", I really do, and I can understand you suspect me of hypocrisy. But, you're just going to have to believe me when I tell you that I'm not one of those gamers.

I think Nintendo are doing to well for themselves to consider going back to their roots. They're just going to keep making gimmicky products that sell to computer-illiterate old age pensioners and 4-year-olds.
I love it when people see Nintendo as the good guys. They're doing nothing for the industry, in fact, we're going to end up going backwards because of them.

Lol, my friend brought that round and we played it on the PS3 not long ago. Listnening to the Scottish guys' taunt is hilarious, even if they're not really an accurate representation of Scottish. Still, funny as hell :D

It may just be motion blur or on-screen filters doing their job. In some places, Crysis looks like a painted concept picture.
