Confirmed: Nintendo's new console will be at E3 2011
Confirmed by IGN Gameinformer and other sites, Nintendo will pre-announcement at the end of the month. The console will dispovel at E3 2011 days on June 7.
Some details revealed:
1 - The console is more powerful than the PlayStation 3.
2 - Publishers are developing games for it.
3 - The new console is compatible with the Wii software.
hmmm...It does have me concerned about only being a 360+. the ps3 & 360 are HD and now the wii2...err Café, will also be in HD, so the difference in graphics shouldn't be that big of a gap anymore.
Nintendo has other areas to improve upon too, like online.

I agree 10 fold. The wii gets shoddy ports and crap from bigger companies & gets shafted on games, then they try to make a substitute game and then fail.
The wii didn't get Dead Space 1 or 2, but it got extraction, which was a piece of garbage. The wii didn't get RE5 or well, most of Capcom's multiplat games, instead wii get 2 RE rail shooters.

the nintendo line up appeals to more of a large audience than the psp. it is lame to call your product only for the hardcore. then only hardcore people will buy it, rather than a larger target. besides, the recent psp ads say otherwise, they show little girls playing with the psp. instead of bashing one, why not promote your product?
besides, the 3ds is getting a monster hunter games, so it is going to sell like hot cakes
