I doubt Nintendo is going to see so much success, like they did with the wii. They presented the wiiu as an add-on for the wii at e3. The wii sold so well, due to its price, the wiiu, will be much more expensive. Only one Wiiu controller at a time, is another big issue. Their line up, shown so far, won't attract the casual crowd, i doubt gramps and mom want to play Aliens, or Killer Freaks.

As long as the keep the milk fresh, i'm fine with it. however, other games, that come out yearly are annoying. typically, we get one main mario platformer per console, and Nintendo has a Handheld and Home Console, so i can see why people think he along with other nintendo stars are getting milked. Its rare to get 2 mario games on one console, that hasn't been done since the NES days, but was broken with the wii, which had 3 mario platformers.
No, I don't think mario really came about until the NES days, and i don't count Pinball and Punch Out as Mario games, just because he makes a cameo

or it could be that its expensive, didn't come with all its features, and a poor launch line up, the games that looked good got pushed back. Eshop also sucks. Nintendo put Urban Champions on it as a 3D classic. That game is considered on of the worse games on the NES, and probably could easily fall into the top ten worse games of all time.

I don't know. Sony lost quite alot of money on the ps3. i don't think that they would clean their hands of it this fast. MAYBE, by holiday season of 2012, but thats a big MAYBE. i'm thinking '13 or '14.
