I see what you're saying mart, and maybe it's even true. But for me, I've seen side by side comparisons of both games, and they exactly the same. Not one noticable graphical difference.
As for framerate drops, I honestly don't remember having any. The only issue I had with GTA IV was the freezing issue many PS3 owners were having. And that sucked, no lie there.
Outstanding comment. Very very true. Bubbles to you good sir.
Incorrect. I have a PS3 and a 360 and I can safely say both systems have plenty of games. I hear fanboys from both sides of the fence make this comment about the other console and it's just ignorant nonsense. PS3 and the 360 both have games they can brag about.
There's a difference between truth and opinion. Learn it.
Sorry HHG, but this is grade A flamebait. When you compare a multiplatform game to Killzone 2 saying it looks as good, not even acknowledging that there IS a PS3 version also, making it look like an Xbox exclusive. Yeah not the smartest.
It's not even the article I have the problem with. A game with Killzone 2 quality? Great! But fix your misinformative title please.
This game looks absolutely incredible. I was almost going to import it, but now I'm glad I didn't seeing as it will probably get extra content and whatnot for its western release.
By the way Callahan, I read your review for this game and it was very imformative and helpful, thank you.
It's comments like yours that give unbiased PS fans a bad reputation. Fanboys on BOTH sides of the fence could be called pathetic, as I've seen horrible comments spew from both ends. I really wish this fanboy battle could just come to a close and agree that both of these systems have great and enjoyable games.
If I've ever seen it. AC2 looks really good, but I wouldn't say it's of the same visual quality of U2.
I also think Alan Wake looks impressive, but it's too dark to really see the true graphical quality of the game. I hope there will be a day/night cycle in the game. So as for that game, I also think it's not up to par with U2. But who knows? When both are finally released, either game might surprise you.
I have the PSWii60 combo, so you better believe I'll be ...
As I thought the first one was one of the most repetitive and underwhelming games of this generation.
This better be "Exclusively" better than the first mediocre game.
Good thing it's not coming out for the PC.
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. While I think it's great a lot of great games can be played on multiple systems, I think it's important that consoles also have their exclusives. I mean, think about this for a second; if every game was available on every available platform, what's the use of even having different consoles? There would only need to be one.
By offering their own exclusives, MS, Sony and Nintendo have actual reasons for making their own console.
...
Dead Rising
Gears of War(First one)
Mass Effect
Fable 2
Forza
Obviously there are more great exclusives for the system. Everyone has their own opinion, but this is my top five list.
After reading this, it sounds like it's more of a lack of skill on his part, and he just got frustrated, than the game being cheap.
Wow, that's pretty neat. I'll have to download this mod onto my PS3 if I'm able to.
I bought this game and it's an incredible JRPG. Sony fans that b!tch about the lack of JRPG's and didn't pick this game up should slap themselves.
And that reason can be stated in one word: Price.
I have never, and will never take the wii seriously. Bought one a few months back, worst investment ever. I'm enjoying my PS360 just fine.
Please don't try and pass your opinion as fact. It's not a fact, and I'm sure millions of people think the PSP has the best games. It's all a matter of game preference.
Speaking of Yakuza 3, is it ever going to come stateside? I've been really hyped about that game, but there's been no word on a western release.
