MAG really is an amazing experience. It's difficult to describe the experience, the feeling that overcomes you when you're playing, and when everything and everyone on the squad clicks. You just have to take that leap and try it for yourself. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
Anyone who trashes the game complaining about lag must truly never have played it. I have YET to experience any lag on these smooth dedicated servers.

It's got a much varied and deep skill tree system. Lots of ribbons and medals to earn, and you'll ALWAYS find a game to play. I've never EVER had any trouble finding a match. And there is a bunch of people playing at all times. Yeah, I don't think there's going to be a problem with this game building a strong community. I know I'm definitely going to be apart of it.
Agree with everything you said. The game is kind of a double edged sword. When you don't have a squad that doesn't want to cooperate, or has no mic to communicate, this game can be a real pain in the ass and you might not like it. BUT, when you have a fully functional squad, that knows what they're doing and can talk with you, this game is beyond a 10.

My favorite game of all time was on 3 discs. I have NO problem switching discs for ME2 if get it for the 360.
I can't really speak for the first one, but K2 definitely did NOT fail. Not by any means. It was bought by many, is still played by many, and scored incredibly. So how exactly did it 'fail'?
I'm more partial to 1 than 2. But I still loved 2. Believe it or not, I was happy about the removal of the weapon wheel. It was tedious a lot of the time.
But I love the tone and setting of 1 a lot more though. One thing I know for sure I want back in 3 is the damn option to play the story with a friend! Why they decided to remove this in 2 I have no idea.
Buy a 360 and you'll find that it also has its share of fun and exciting games.
Yeah I can agree with that. That was a little extreme. Halo 3 did have quite a deep roster when it came to features,(though I could care less for theater mode or the map editor).
I was a little upset at the fact that K2 didn't have any type of co-op added, but I looked past that. I really dug the campaign, and loved the online even more, even IF some of the matches got a little too hectic at times.
While I'm quite excited for BC2 to come out, I'm sorry to break to you that, that doesn't look as good as K2. No way.
Great news if this is to be trusted. I absolutely love Killzone 2 and still play it to this day. Very very fun multiplayer.

8 Vs. 8 in SOCOM is fun. Very fun indeed. But you have to understand that 256 is so much more than just a simple number.
Like it's been said before, it's a design choice. It's the gameplay structure. When all of one sides squads are flowing and acting together, it really is a beautiful thing, and is a very hard game to put down.
