I agree with this review. If this was a launch game before games like COD4 and Warhawk came out, it would have been great. But when a game like COD4 spoils you so much in terms of control, sound, graphics, gameplay, deep customization, solid online multiplayer, solid campaign. Its hard to like Socom.. First of all the graphics are very bland and last gen, the sound is unbalanced, for some reason all the guns sound exactly the same, maps are way to big and it gets tedious doing the missions. ...
Ok people that say DD will kill any format is dead wrong.. First and foremost, the only systems offering DD is the PS3 and 360, what about families with non gamers in the household that dont want to buy a PS3 or 360?! Where else are they going to get a system that offers DD right in the living room. Also it takes waaaaaaay to long to download simple movies to watch. Your casual family arent going to wait hours and sometimes overnight just for a movie to download.

I must say that i use to be very intrested in this game, but ever since I played Little Big planet, that has changed. Im very slowly starting to think that the PS3 is the better system overall, just to many good exclusives coming out along with Home.

Ok first and foremost I own a 46 inch samsung 1080p LCD TV so i know firsthand that when it comes to games.. 1080p DOES NOT MATTER BECAUSE YOU CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE WITH GAMES.. All these 360 games that say they support "1080p" is just not relevant because I also own a PS3 and 360 and when I change Gears or Halo 3 from 720p to 1080p, there is NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever.
