Thought it was a very enjoyable game. If I had a family and some children this would be the "GOTO Game!" barnone. I have LBP and R2. Right now i'm working in both. But I have strayed away from the level editor in LBP because the first time I touched it i spend about 5hrs or so until 4am+ getting basics down.
Its THAT addicting.
So i've stayed away from it for alittle bit, and concetrated on Resistance 2; Which has this Incredible Pick up and Play feel to ...
But i use the PSEye mostly because its easier to use. Mostly for Casual Play. I just make sure my game volume is low and my VOIP volume is high (to hear other people).
Works great for me.
Why... Is beyond me. I guess repeating "Change" all the time influenced them like 90% of the voters. Socialism FTW!
Yea, i'd say so. It was a fantastic year. Games,Firmware,Services. I'm very pleased. 2009 should be even better.
However, I do mind since I was in the beta when i see an Unfair review. R2 Improves on every aspect, The loss of the weapon wheel is AWESOME. It simplifies it and creates a more tactical game. The Game as a whole has far more "VALUE/$" then any other game this gen and that includes Gears 2.
The Overall score is supposed to be on Fun/Value/$ and this game should be a 9.5+. The legs in R2 are much larger then R1, and its much more fun to play.
But whatever, ...
Really imperssive. I've started fiddling with the tools. Specifically to create enemies (I see that as the hardest part). Once i create Challenging enemies i'll move onto a set of levels with themes as a complete level pack.
But this is really great. It takes alot of time to drum up ideas like this and get all the components working properly. This is very complex and if this guy brings up the diffculty just a bit more it'll be a great level.
If your going to make a nonsense statement like taht take it to the open zone. Sony Free PSn have ZERO to do with server issue lol. geez.
I think Sony's PSN + PSSTORE + HOME are utterly fantastic.
First person Cover by nature puts you into a "blind spot". 3rd person cover is more like a "gamers cheat" then anything else. 3PC works in alot of games and is fun to use, but in an FPS always staying in first person. I cant see how it would work well (although i'd still like to try it).
I think they should implement the Socom Lean n' Peak. Its very natrual feeling and i think it would work better then being "locked" onto an object.

Gears of War 2. GUARNTEED. All the xbox fans you really have no idea until you sink a couple hours into R2. Trust me, go play it at a friends house and you'll understand in a completely non-biased way.
Its a challenge to the xbox only fans.

You cant Hate on a game with all pre-concieved notions and Compare it with other games that it is not. You can't say "lacks cover system" when There was NEVER supposed to be a cover system. KIllzone2 has No Cover system in MP because they found it slowed teh game down too much. There are DESIGN CHOICES that are made to keep a game according to the vision.
