I was born in 88 so I got a good taste of the gens myself. i do call bs on his conclusion though. I grew up legitimately with all of those games but I was never hooked until I played Turok on N64. Next Xmas I got ff7 and a ps1. To this day I'm a shooter / adventure / rpg gamer first. Platformers that echo of yesteryear just don't do it for me.
I work a full time job, have a bs and MBA, am a full time dad and made $68,000 this year 2 years out of college. You're describing two very different situations my man.
I'm so unsure about the order. It's definitely not a day 1 purchase for me. Week 2 purchase possible pending player feedback.
I could never see myself playing this on PC. I bought it years ago on steam and didn't even make it to the first boss. To me, FFVII is a PS game first.
Trophies, does it have trophies?!? I'm buying it again to experience with my 3 year old daughter and while I was disappointed that it's not a remake, I am confident we'll be seeing a proper FFVII (or seauel) in the near future. Hopefully square doesn't poop the bed on it. But on the other hand, the company seems so out of touch with its base that some doubts linger.
I really hope it's free for premium members. I spent $110 or so on this game and really can't justify anything more with so many games out
I'm totally down for the original again, my question though, are trophies now included in the ps4 version?
It was the most perfect horror game I've ever played. Truly was downright terrifying
Yeah last of us was action man. It was horrifying and disturbing with the setting and events, but it's not horror. It was more of a superb adventure game than anything
Personally a WW2 battlefield al la BF1944 would make be happiest, but I'll concede for a WaW 2. The first campaign was amazing, and given the new technology, this one could be truly incredible. I wouldn't mind current get visiting Omaha again, or the airborne landings, or even Italy. As for the controversy pre-requisite - German campaign possible?
I'd rather never hear about it again vs being teased with this bs.
I'm not interested in 19th century London. It should really be WW1 Germany / Europe. Despite the best efforts of the Assassins, The Templars assassinate Franz Ferdinand, sparking World War 1. The possibilities for new gameplay could revolutionize the series. They shouldn't fear technology. AC would still be applicable and relevant, even in a WW2 setting. Anything past 1945 gets iffy for me
I agree. They need to take a break to re-evaluate their core game and improve on it. I wasn't too keen on late 18th century France, I'll feel the same, but moreso, concerning 19th century London.
There needs to be a paradigm shift. Assassins creed games would work PERFECT in a WW1 setting, and givin the advancement in technology to that time, it could really change up gameplay.
If they HAD to go 19th century it should've been NYC 5 points, al la ...
A solution looking for a problem...
The only thing that failed is this article. It's 3 paragraphs stating the obvious. No news, just a brief opinion. I learned nothing new by reading it. Not sure how it was approved
That Xbox bundle though, damn, $329 is such a sweet spot. I almost bought one like 5 times Thursday night but I just can't justify it yet. Needs more exclusives and I do my 3rd party on ps4
I'd put it more in the category of ' very good ' personally. Really a lovely game though. Really fun and doesn't take itself too seriously
The trolls are out today! Fiction always seems to trump reality in these message boards. Games are not made by the tooth fairy. They take people, resource investment and most of all, time.
I was going to say you sound like a troll... Then I saw your username. Go ejaculate over titanfall kid
Lol it's crazy being a dad, that's when my gaming gets done as well, after the wife and baby get to sleep. I'm going to dig out my old genesis for my little girl, I think she'll like sonic
