Perhaps this is why LA NOIRE is on PS3 only. They want to experimant and see what they can do if they focused all resources onto Blu-ray rather than worry about trying to fit it for 360 as well.

I agree there is no need to plan for an attack when you can just blend your way to your target and and kill him. The weakest point is the fighting, it's just so meh...I went from God of War to one button combat which was just such a system shock. There needs to be Day/night cycles with an ability to sneak, payment for my missions and buyable/upgradable weapons.
TR has no chance in beating WoW, the name doesn't reflect what the game is about, Also WoW is a huge name now thanks to South Park. The only thing that will beat WoW is another World of ****** by Blizzard.
It's not a breakthrough when you have an open world with absolutely nothing to do. Unlike GTA you had incentives to explore and drive around you could buy stuff and had money but in this game It's just a big city with nothing to do but collect flags and hunt templars. Yeap the AI is so dumb there's no real action until the chase part and even the chase has it's flaws. The game suffers from the "Hitman" syndrome, where you're all fine and dandy but just the slightest thing that shouldn't even give you away as an assassin does. It's an OK game, but yea save your money..seriously though I'm just enduring this game, I'd much rather pop in Oblivion and play as an assassin for the Dark Brotherhood, so much better. I'm playing it right this second and I have to say...it's no 9, more like an 8 maybe. It's an open world but you can't really do anything other than what you're tasked to do. Anyone who says Hi-Def will never defeat DVDs are just joking with themselves. A higher format will always evantually win over the old format, it's been happening for decades. DVD will soon go the way of the cassette tape.
